The Sydenham Society was founded in November 1972 and extends its interest throughout Sydenham and a large part of Forest Hill. Its objectives are to promote public interest and civic pride and promote high standards of planning, architecture and services and to ensure the conservation and enhancement of amenities and features of public interest.
