Salters Hill

Salters Hill flanks the eastern side of Norwood Park and connects Central Hill with Gipsy Road. The northern end of the road has a width restriction because of a railway bridge. The tricky road markings are notorious for catching out motorists and became subject to review after it emerged that Lambeth Council had collected thousands of pounds worth of fines over a short period in 2007. The story was featured in several newspapers and on ITV1's Parking Wars - Tonight at 8pm on 28th March 2008.
