The Phoenix Community Centre hosts a wide range of activity groups including Over 50s club, Bridge afternoons, Yoga Classes, Mums and Toddlers Play group, Dance workout, Slimming World and Weight watchers sessions, ballroom dancing, video knowledge meetings and twice yearly boot sales.

The Upper Norwood Councillors hold surgeries at the centre each month. The centre also hosts Croydon Health Authority's Children's clinic and quarterly sessions for blood donors.

On Saturdays the centre is open for bookings for weddings and private parties. Call in between 9am to noon and ask one of the caretakers for prices and advice.
