Patterson Road is probably one of the less known roads that is situated in close proximity to the triangle. It therefore has the benefits of being central but also incredibly quiet because generally the only people who come down here are those that live here or people who park here.
Architecturally, the road is not particularly inspiring with predominantly inter-war housing, however it does have a distinctive character due to the topography, with the houses on one side of the road rising steeply up to Church Road giving them fantastic views of the North Downs.
