At the top of Gipsy Hill is a crossroads with Central Hill, Westow Hill and Westow Street. It leads into the One Way System of The Triangle via Westow Hill. Gipsy Hill Police Station, which is the highest police station in London, is on Central Hill about 100m from this junction.

Coming down the hill on the left is the Central Hill Estate. The first turning on the right is Camden Hill Road. When you reach the crossroads with Woodland Hill and Highland Road you will see a converted church tower on the corner. This is right next to Christ Church Gipsy Hill and the Goodliffe Hall. The hall is used for local elections. Further around the corner of Highland Road it becomes Lunham Road where there is a decommisioned nuclear bunker. This 18-room bunker was constructed between 1963 and 1966 as part of a block of flats on the Central Hill Estate called Pear Tree House. Paxton Primary School is in Woodland Hill.

Carrying on down the hill is Cawnpore Street on the right, followed by Woodland Road. Becondale Road is next on the left, opposite the blocks of high-rise flats. Just after the Gipsy Hill Tavern is the turning for Becondale Road and Mountbatten Close, with the Shell petrol station on the other side of the road, immediately followed by Gipsy Hill Station.

The next turning on the right is for Colby Road, with The Colby Arms pub on the corner, followed by a cut through to Dulwich Wood Avenue. On the right hand side from here down to the bottom of the hill is Bell Meadow. On the left are the roads of Charters Close, then Grazely Court and Oaks Avenue. At the end of the road is the junction with Gipsy Road. To the right is the roundabout which leads to Croxted Road and Dulwich, with The Mansion pub and doctors surgery on the other side of the road. To the left is the parade of shops on Gipsy Road and the Baptist Church Gipsy Road.
